It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the official portal of the District Mineral Foundation Trust (DMFT), Jamtara.

The District Mineral Foundation is committed to ensuring that the benefits derived from mineral resources contribute meaningfully to the sustainable, inclusive and equitable development of mining-affected communities. Our endeavour is to translate these resources into tangible improvements in the lives of people, particularly those residing in areas directly and indirectly affected by mining activities.

Through focused interventions in education, healthcare, drinking water, sanitation, livelihood promotion, environmental conservation, rural connectivity and essential infrastructure, DMFT Jamtara is working towards creating better opportunities and improving the overall quality of life of communities across the district.

This portal is an important step towards strengthening transparency, accountability and citizen participation in the functioning of DMFT. It provides a single platform for accessing information relating to DMFT-funded projects, schemes, financial resources, ongoing initiatives and developmental activities undertaken across the district.

Our vision is to ensure that DMFT resources are utilised in a transparent, accountable and outcome-oriented manner, with priority accorded to the genuine needs of mining-affected communities. We believe that development is most effective when it is participatory and responsive to the aspirations of the people.

I invite citizens, community representatives, elected bodies, government departments and all other stakeholders to actively engage with the DMFT and contribute their valuable suggestions and feedback. Your participation will help us identify priorities, strengthen implementation and ensure that the benefits of DMFT reach the last mile and every eligible community.
